Below are some examples of the wide range
of poems that can be constructed around
a single color. If nothing else, this is a good
exercise in observation. Too often one overlooks the wonderful descriptive powers of color

EXAMPLES:

Purple is a parade;
Purple is shade.
Purple is gay
Purple is May!

EXAMPLES:

Blue may be sad;
Orange is the start of the day.
Yellow is the sun;
Black is when someone is dead;
Gray is someone in dismay.
Pink is happy.
Red is rosy.
Green is a jelly bean.
Colors you see can be anything.
